The actiLib Kodiak 3416 LTO-Tape Library is the ideal solution as a central data backup and archiving system for small and medium-sized enterprises. As a growing system, the actiLib Kodiak 3416 LTO tape library relies on the outstanding performance of proven, established LTO-Tape technology and meets with the highest level of flexible features both in installation, expansion and operation as well as demands of modern system environments. In this way, the acquisitions can be adapted to current and future tasks, so that in addition to the current and future LTO-Tape technologies, the number of LTO tape drives and LTO slots can be increased.
actiLib Kodiak 3416 – Basic Module (BTL)
The basic module already offers outstanding performance features. Equipped with current LTO-9 Tape Drives, 40 LTO media have a total capacity of almost 1,8PB. With the installation of up to three LTO tape drives, up to 8TB per hour can be stored.
actiLib Kodiak 3416 - Expansion Module (ETL)
Up to fifteen other expansion modules can be connected to one basic module and provide up to 640 LTO slots and more than 28PB of storage capacity. As a result, the actiLib Kodiak 3416 LTO Tape Library is scalable and can be flexibly adapted to future growing demands.
Ready for future LTO Tape Technologies
New LTO tape drive modules can also be easily added or exchanges into the actiLib Kodiak 3416 LTO Tape library at a later time and even operated in mixed operation using different LTO technologies.
High Efficiency
With 13 slots per rackmount unit (1U), the actiLib Kodiak 3416 offers the highest capacity with the best use of space. Due to optimal scalability with additional expansion modules, the LTO tape library is economically in purchase as well as in future investments, which can be planned based on future demand.
Easy Administration
actiLib Kodiak 3416 will be managed via the multilingual GbE web interface. All important functions can also be managed through the built-in OCP Control Panel.
