Network Attached Storage systems (NAS) are mostly part of any IT environment. For small and medium-sized companies that need a reliable NAS storage system to store their files centrally, the actiNAS XL 2U-12 is the right choice. Up to twelve enterprise-class SATA-III hard drives can be flexibly configured, providing a capacity of more than 100 terabytes usable by customer. Among other things, access to existing LANs will be realized via dual optical 10Gb-Ethernet and dual 1GB-Ethernet RJ45 interfaces. The management of the actiNAS XL 2U-12 will be done via an intuitive web-GUI as well as using the separate interface with IPMI 2.0.

Data, Data, Data
… and Backup Sets as well

The actiNAS XL 2U-12 storage system is ideal as centralized storage within an existing IT infrastructure. RAID-managed Hard Disk Drives (HDD) or Solid State Disks (SSD) provide low-cost storage for an easy storing of data. Alternatively, the backup sets of an disk-based backup can be stored and kept ready. Installed in a separate fire section the backup sets keep available in case of a disaster. If desired, it is also possible to replicate the data to a second actiNAS XL 2U-12.

Reliable through proven Server Components

Equipped with components out of the server class, original Intel server CPU, embedded server motherboard with DDR4-ECC-RAM, dual redundant power supply, and server management port via a separate IPMI 2.0 interface, the actiNAS XL 2U-12 is especially prepared for use within system environments as a separate backup or data storage system with access for authorized users. Two (dual) optical LAN interfaces 10GbE SFP+ as well as dual 1GbE RJ45 are available for connection to the existing LAN.
